Building Name: Stirling Block
1160 Inlet Street
Developer: Polygon
Sales Status: Preselling

Introduction
Stirling Block is Polygon’s new presale community in Coquitlam, and it launched March 14, 2026. The site is 1160 Inlet Street, between Coquitlam Centre and the Inlet District. Three 6-storey buildings, 284 homes, all wrapped around a private courtyard.
Why the Location Matters
If you have been watching the Inlet Centre and Lincoln area, you already know why this corner matters. Inlet Centre Station is a short walk up Pinetree Way, and Lincoln Station is roughly the same distance the other direction. Both put you on the Millennium Line. From Inlet Centre to Waterfront downtown is about 45 to 50 minutes with the transfer at Commercial-Broadway to the Expo Line (verify with TransLink). For most buyers in the Stirling Block presale, the bigger deal is the 5 minute SkyTrain hop to Coquitlam Central, where the West Coast Express picks up the slack into downtown Vancouver during rush hour.
Stirling Block Floor Plans and Pricing
The Stirling Block floor plans cover one bedroom, one bedroom and den, two bedroom, and three bedroom homes. Pricing starts from $519,900 for a one bedroom and den and $599,900 for a two bedroom. Sizes run from around 618 sq ft up to roughly 1,159 sq ft, so there are layouts that work for a single buyer, a couple, or a small family stepping out of a townhouse.
Amenities and Everyday Living
What you actually live with day to day. Heat pump air conditioning is standard, which is no longer a luxury in Coquitlam summers. Open kitchens, spa-style bathrooms, and decent sized decks or patios. Each building gets its own double-height lobby that Polygon is leaning into as hotel-inspired. There is a fitness studio, a social lounge, a landscaped central courtyard, a kids’ play area, EV-ready parking, and a bike room with a maintenance station.
The Neighbourhood Around Stirling Block
The neighbourhood does the heavy lifting. Coquitlam Centre mall is a short drive or one stop on the Millennium Line, with Save-On-Foods, T&T, Hudson’s Bay, and the food court. Henderson Place mall sits on the other side of Pinetree Way for casual eats. Lafarge Lake and Town Centre Park are the city’s best amenity, full stop. The 1.2 km loop around the lake, the Lights at Lafarge in winter, the Inspiration Garden, the City Centre Aquatic Complex, the Evergreen Cultural Centre, and Douglas College are all within a 10 to 15 minute walk. Pinetree Secondary catchment, with Como Lake a quick drive west.
For families this is a real neighbourhood and not a tower in a parking lot. For investors, the rental story is the Millennium Line, Douglas College students, SFU commuters via the 145, and the move-up buyers from older Coquitlam stock who want air conditioning and an elevator.
Who Is Stirling Block For?
Polygon has been building in BC since 1980, and they have several other Tri-Cities and Burquitlam projects on the go right now including Goldfinch, Cardinal, and Skylark. Their presales tend to come with a fairly buyer-friendly deposit structure (not confirmed for Stirling Block, needs verification with the sales team). Completion is targeted for 2027 pending final municipal approvals.
If you are shopping the Coquitlam presale market this spring, Stirling Block is one of the bigger launches of the year and it is one of the few new buildings genuinely walkable to two Millennium Line stations. Get on the Stirling Block presale list with Polygon, request the floor plans and pricing, and book a sales centre appointment before the popular plans are spoken for.
